We support the student's community

Through the Parent Engagement Program (PEP), we work to give parents the knowledge and tools they need to become more informed and effective advocates for their children and school. PEP began in Rockingham County in 2017, with the first cohort graduating in 2018.

For the 2020/21 school year, the Rockingham County Education Foundation is reuniting, reengaging, and reinvigorating past PEP graduates so we may use our collective resources to help students in Rockingham County thrive during this difficult time of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Now, more than ever, our students, teachers, and schools need us.

We are in this together and can be stronger for it! If you are a past PEP participant or graduate, let us know.

Rockingham County Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by Rockingham County citizens looking to increase the college-going culture and value of education in our county.

Our mission is to provide leadership, advocacy and program resources to increase the education levels of residents to make our community thrive as an attractive place to live, work and do business.

RCEF envisions an informed community where all people in Rockingham County can achieve their highest potential in a globally competitive world.
